Scherbovich, A.A. Prohibition of slavery in form of obligatory labor in international law and national legislation.

Abstract: This article is devoted to the study of international documents in the sphere of fi ghting slavery in the form of forced labor, in the UN and various regional international organizations (such as the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States, CIS, etc.). The author shows the practical efforts of the NGOs and inter- government organizations in this sphere. The author pays attention to normative legal acts of the Russian Federation in the sphere of criminal and labor law, which are aimed to implement the international legal documents, which are intended to abolish slavery in the form of forced labor.
