Abstract: In this article the author based on legal analysis of the scientifi c works of the German scholars analyzes the stages of formation and development of the German science of international law, studies the grounds for the formation of various scientifi c schools, directions and some institutions of this system of law, introduces the Russian readers to the input of the German scientists into the legal science.
